the Project:
The project began as a university thesis in the Centre
for Women’s Studies, University of York, UK but
through this website we hope to interest both people
who worked at Rowntrees and those who have only come
into contact with the firm through its famous products
such as Kit Kat and After Eights. By visiting the guestbook
you will be able to add your own memories of Rowntrees
and your own comments about the way we have written
this history.
